Cosmos Series

In Part 2 Carl Sagan explains evolution is found in the fossil record. I'll use this to set up to talk about what the fossil record actually shows. Does it show slow, gradual changes over long periods of time. Or, does it show rapid burial, species appearing almost out of nowhere and then stasis, remaining the same? Which, by the way, is what we should expect in the historical account given to us in Scripture is true.
