Here’s a bit of information about this talented special guest!
- Gary was the Indianapolis Star cartoonist for 24 years, and his work is now syndicated through Creators Syndicate.
- In 2015, he was also inducted into the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame. Among his numerous awards, he has received the National Headliners Award, the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, and the National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award for Best Editorial Cartoonist Division.
- In the Christian arena, Gary Varvel has written and illustrated The Good Shepherd children's book, and he co-wrote and produced the Christian films, The Board (2009) and The War Within (2014).
